This episode features a special guest, Barclay Crenshaw also known as Claude VonStroke. Claude is the founder of one of the hottest EDM labels - Dirtybird Records. He’s also world-renowned EDM DJ and artist, performing at virtually every major festival and club across the globe. 

We start with the origin story of Dirtybird: how it started and how the label has evolved. Then we discuss the rave scene over the years. As you’ll hear, Dirty Bird is not your typical label and Claude isn’t your typical DJ. He curates unique experiences with fans to get the crowd in the zone and help them get weird.

Barclay Macbride Crenshaw, known by the stage name Claude VonStroke, is an American house producer based in Los Angeles. He owns Dirtybird Records, based in San Francisco. He has been named America's Best DJ in Pioneer DJ and DJ Times’ annual polls and nominated at the Electronic Music Awards for both DJ of the Year and Radio Show of the Year for "The Birdhouse". Most people know Claude for his smiling DJ persona touring every major city, festival, and after-party around the world. Highlights include working on records with Bootsy Collins, Rihanna, Disclosure and Kevin Saunderson, and a number of #1 and #2 hits. In 2015, VonStroke started his first festival called Dirtybird Campout, a unique festival based on games and activities mixed with the best underground house and bass music in the world. VonStroke is grateful to be curating, creating and performing music for a living and he knows that the reason people go to parties is to shake their booty and have fun.
